This is an unfinished demo of what I think would be the soundtrack to the 1966 Compton's Cafeteria Riots, in which police came to arrest trans women customers at the cafeteria, using unnecessary force (of course) and one of the women ignited a riot by throwing coffee in the face of the cop. This is the sound of some of the US's earliest trans rights activists, even before the Stonewall Riots three years later, beating the shit out of fascist cops with chairs, high heels, and heavy purses. 😎👍 Punk as fuck.
The song takes its title from the documentary film by Susan Stryker and Victor Silverman.
Lyrics:
It's time to start
Start some shit
We don't need you
Get the fuck away!
It's time to break
Break some shit
You get the FUCK
Out of my face!
Let's end this shit
Once and for all
We're not fucking going away
